Any San Diego water polo athletes interested in practicing and playing with our club are required to register as a member of the Del Mar Water Polo Club.

REGISTRATION

Please read the information below and then follow our 3 easy steps to complete the registration process.

Please note that your child may not be able to participate in Del Mar Water Polo practices, games or tournaments unless all three steps are completed.  If you have any questions regarding the registration process, please send an email to our club administrator, Jane-Marie Fajardo at fajardo.waterpolo@gmail.com.

Parent Guidelines

By enrolling your son/daughter into the program, you agree to follow the parent guidelines (Updated August 2011).  To print or download Click Here TEAM PARENTAL CODE OF CONDUCT[1] for a PDF version of the Del Mar Water Polo Parental Guidelines form.

Sibling Discount

Del Mar Water Polo offers a sibling discount for those families who have enrolled 2 or more athletes for the same season.  The oldest athlete pays to full price and all other siblings will receive the sibling discount for that season.

Age Group Categories

• 10U born after August 1st, 2001
• 12U Girls & Boys – Must be born after August 1st, 1999
• 14U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1997 and July 31st, 1999
• 16U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1995 and July 31st, 1997
• 18U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1993 and July 31st, 1995
• 20U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1991 and July 31st 1992
  (All 20U’s train with the 18U groups)

Age Groups Above are Effective through Summer of 2012

Now that you have read the information above, you are ready to follow our 3 simple steps below to complete the registration process.

STEP 1: Del Mar Water Polo Registration and Payment
Click Here to register online via our club enrollment program called Club Assistant.

We prefer that all dues, tournament accounts and merchandise purchases are done online and paid by credit card. If you do pay by check, please do NOT give the check to the coaches.

STEP 2: USA Water Polo Membership
To participate in club water polo, every athlete must be a United States Water Polo member for insurance purposes – not only for our club, but for all leagues and tournaments.

You will need the following information in order to complete your USA Water Polo Registration:

Zone: Pacific Southwest Zone

STEP 3: Medical Release Form
All Del mar Water Polo Club members are required to have a signed medical release form on record with the club administrator. The form is provided here in a PDF format. Please complete the form and give it to your team parent. – Click Here
