Any San Diego water polo athletes interested in practicing and playing with our club are required to register as a member of the Del Mar Water Polo Club.
ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT NOW AVAILABLE!
Del Mar Water Polo Club is now offering easy, online registration through Club Assistant. To register your player online, simply click here to be taken to Club Assistant to begin the registration process.
We prefer that all dues, tournament accounts and merchandise purchases are done online and paid by credit card. If you do pay by check, please do not give the check to the coaches.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
All Del Mar Water Polo Club members are required to have a signed medical release form on record with the club administrator. The form is provided here in a PDF format – Medical release form.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
Of note, Del Mar Water Polo Club offers a sibling discount for those families who have enrolled 2 or more athletes for the same season. The oldest athlete pays the full price and all other siblings will receive the sibling discount for that season.
AGE GROUP CATEGORIES
- 10U born after August 1st, 2001
- 12U Girls & Boys – Must be born after August 1st, 1999 and be in (or just completed) the 6th grade or under
- 14U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1997 and July 31st, 1999 and be in (or just completed) the 8th grade or under (No high school players)
- 16U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1995 and July 31st, 1997 and be in (or just completed) the 10th grade or under
- 18U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1993 and July 31st, 1995 and be in (or just completed) the 12th grade or under (No college players)
- 20U Girls & Boys – Born between August 1st, 1991 and July 31st 1992
(All 20U’s train with the 18U groups)
Age Groups Above are Effective through Summer of 2012
USA WATER POLO MEMBERSHIP
To participate in club water polo, every athlete must be a United States Water Polo member for insurance purposes – not only for our club but for all of our leagues and tournaments. Complete the United States Water Polo Membership Registration Form located on their website by clicking here.
Disregard this if you are already registered. However, if your current registration is with another club you will need to change to Del Mar Water Polo Club. You will need to know the following information to register with USWP:
