Thalia Ormsby (Munro)

ASSISTANT COACH

Thalia Ormsby (formerly Munro) is an assistant coach for the Del Mar Water Polo Club boys and girls team. Coach Ormsby comes to San Diego with a stellar water polo resume, including playing for the NCAA Champion UCLA Bruins and the USA National Team (Bronze medal winners at the 2004 Athens Olympics). Coach Ormsby’s impressive water polo experience also includes: the 1998 National Youth Team Most Valuable Player at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Junior Nationals First-Team All-American and Senior Nationals Second-Team All-American, member of the U.S.A. Senior National Team, member of the 2003 Holiday Cup Team, member of the 2003 Pan American Games Team, and member of the 2003 FINA World Championship Team.
