After water polo and swimming careers at Crawford High School and San Diego State University, Coach Ormsby began his coaching career at Hilltop High School.
Over his career he has established himself as one of the most well-known names in San Diego water polo and swimming.
He has won 6 CIF Swimming Championships, 2 CIF Boys Water Polo Championships and one CIF Girls Water Polo Championship.
In addition, he has served as an assistant coach for the United States Cadet and Junior National water polo teams.
