The San Diego based Del Mar Water Polo Club aims to help boys and girls water polo players throughout San Diego county develop the necessary skills to be successful throughout their water polo careers and beyond. Teamwork, cooperation, and relationship building are highly emphasized by the head coaches who have both played for the USA Olympic Water Polo Team. Fundamentals and individual skills are the primary physical focus since they allow athletes smoother transitions into higher levels of water polo. Ultimately, we hope to instill a love for the game and a healthy appreciation for the hard work it takes to be successful as a water polo player.
